Highlights of the Qatar Gas, NFPS Phase II
The North Field Expansion (NFE) project’s second phase,
known as North Field South (NFPS), involves the addition of six massive liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains. This expansion is set to boost Qatar’s liquefaction capacity from 77 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to 126 mtpa by 2027, marking a remarkable 64% increase in production.
