What is Hypa60 Pro?

Hypa60 Pro is Duratuf’s specification-grade CSM rubber sheet, compounded at 100% chlorosulfonated polyethylene, the elastomer industry knows as Hypalon. It is engineered for industrial applications where EPDM, neoprene, and natural rubber compounds fail: environments combining oxidizing acid exposure, outdoor UV radiation, and temperatures up to +130°C.

The CSM backbone delivers a combination of properties that no general-purpose elastomer matches: oxidizing acid resistance, complete ozone immunity, UV stability, and good tensile strength at 10 MPa with 350% elongation at break. 60 Shore A hardness provides the firmness required for precision sealing under bolt and clamp load.
Hypa60 Pro is the correct specification when one or more of the following apply: the chemical environment includes nitric acid, sulfuric acid, or chromic acid; the installation is outdoor with continuous UV and ozone exposure; operating temperature reaches +130°C; or dimensional stability under sustained weather and pressure cycling is required.
