Cold Bonding Adhesive

Duratuf cold bonding adhesive, also known as cold glue or cold adhesives, is used to stick conveyor belt covers together at room temperature without applying heat. They are suitable for on-site rubber sheet or conveyor cover repairing tasks without any specialized equipment.

Our cold bonding adhesives are a creamy, viscous liquid- a solution of Thiophosphoric acid TRIS-(P-ISOCYANOTPHENYLESTER). They are created for rubber-to-metal/rubber bonding. The DuraLok range comes in 1-liter and 5-liter metal containers.

Major Application Areas of our Cold Bonding Adhesive
  • Rubber Lining Systems – Tanks, pipes, chutes, ducts, and chimneys in mining, power, and process industries.
  • Conveyor Belt Repairs – Belt joints, patching, and pulley lagging in bulk handling and high-temperature conveyors.
  • Rubber-to-Metal Bonding – Screens, hoppers, rollers, and fabrication assembly work.
  • High-Heat Installations – Kilns, furnaces, dryer drums, hot-air systems, and thermal insulation setups.
  • On-Site Repairs & Maintenance – Fast bonding for wear-resistant sheets, gaskets, and critical rubber-metal fixes.

After adding the recommended hardener, the adhesive generally achieves tack within 20–30 minutes and full curing strength in approximately 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

We have two types of cold bonding adhesives with distinct features. Connect with our team to know the curing time in details.

Yes, proper surface preparation is critical to avoid accidents and downtime. You should grit-blast or roughen metal surfaces and clean them of oils/grease. On the other hand, rubber surfaces should be buffed and cleaned for optimal adhesion.

We deliver all across India and every part of the world from our warehouses and through our dedicated channel partners.

It works best with NR, SBR, neoprene, and other industrial rubber compounds but may not be suitable for rubbers without specialized primers. We recommend you talk to us before buying.

Yes, it retains good form in humid conditions and is formulated to cure effectively outdoors. However, surfaces must be kept clean and dry during application for optimal results.
