Duratuf silicone rubber sheet finds its application in many industrial applications, especially in automobile, food processing, furniture and industrial manufacturing industries. Sheets of silicone are physiologically inert. It does not produce chemical or physical reactions when it comes in contact with another material. Our high temperature rubber sheet’s functioning and performance stay intact in oil and hydrocarbon applications. However, we do not recommend using silicone sheets near acids, alkalis, esters, and kerosene.
Silicone rubber has lower tensile strength and tear strength than other types of synthetic rubber sheets. Nonetheless, some types of silicone sheet shows outstanding resilience, flexibility, and a low compression set. Our specialty silicone rubber sheeting has these features.
Silicone rubber sheets perform well at high and low temperatures. They do not curl, warp or degrade when exposed to hot dry air (up to +250°C). On the other hand, silicone sheets do not get brittle or hard in temperatures up to -50°C.
Duratuf silicone rubber sheeting is also flame retardant and has low smoke toxicity.
